Description

Recreating five flags from five countries within their lodges and learning some facts about those countries.

Countries are:
USA
Sweden
Japan
Brazil
Nigeria

Resources

Coloured rice
A4 card
A6 card
Glue / brushes / pots

Instructions

Each lodge will be given on piece of A4 card and must complete the flag as per the example. One person is nominated in each lodge to look at the example flag and the others will use that knowledge to recreate it using glue and the coloured rice provided.

There will be facts on the back of each of the A4 cards about the country that the flag belongs to. Once they have finished they can go to another lodge to find out the information about a different country (there is also a fact about Scouting in that country), then they decide which flag to create on an A6 piece of card for them to take home.
