Description

Each group must cross the stream using three pieces of cardboard (1m square)

Resources

3 xs 1 metre cardboard per group

Instructions

-Mark two lines, 5-10 metres apart, they are the banks of the stream.
-Issue each posse with three large pieces of cardboard. (approx. 1m square)
-Starting at one bank, they have to cross to the other side without touching the ground.
-Don’t tell them how to do it.
-It won’t take long for each group to work it out; that they must crowd onto two pieces of card and passing the rear piece forward.
