Introduction
This will be a good opportunity for the Ladybirds to get an understanding of money and how different items that they like are valued.

Instructions
• Ask the Ladybirds to sit in a circle and ask ‘what do you think you could buy for one euro?’ They might list little toys from the euro shop, or sweets, or a piece of fruit, or maybe a small bottle of juice.

• Then ask ‘what do you think you could buy for two euro?’ They might list items that are slightly bigger or more detailed or in greater quantity than they listed previously.

• Wrap up by asking ‘what do you think you could buy for five euro?’ Again, they might list items that are larger or greater quantities of the previous two examples.
