Description

Pippin bursts through an apple to Brownies
Added by the GGNZ Linking Team

Resources

Cardboard cut out in the shape of an apple
Tissue paper

Instructions

Make a large apple from cardboard and cut it in half lengthways so that it can open up like a gate. Join the two halves together temporarily with thin paper that a Pippin can easily push through (eg. tissue paper). Some leaders cover a hoop and have one for each Pippin to burst through.
Pippins stand in a circle with the Pippin linking in the middle. Brownies stand in their Brownie circle on the other side of the apple shaped gate.
The Pippin linking up bursts through the centre of the apple and is welcomed to Brownies.
