Straight Twigs (6inch approx.)
Ribbon strips
Scissors

Instructions

One twig needed per decoration.
Show the children how to tie the scraps of ribbon down the twig - loose single knots give good coverage
Bunch the ribbons close together leaving a gap as the 'trunk' at the bottom of the twig
Use sharp scissors to trim the ribbon scraps into the shape of a Christmas tree, longer at the bottom, to short at the top
Tie string to the top of the twig to enable hanging
