Scouts build bivouacs, then learn about fire types and water purification

Resources

Old sig bottle, copper pipe (pre bent), water, wood, old towel.

Instructions

Scouts to go off in groups and each build bivouac. Leaders to make several fires, one with a reflector, one as a signal fire, one as a long log fire. Then construct still out of copper pipe and old sig bottle. Boil foul water up and put through still and let scouts drink it.
