A cooking activity whereby participants create reasonably healthy, delicious backwoods delicacies.
Dried mixed fruit (optional),
Core out the centre of the apples, try to taking care to ensure the bottom remains complete,
Place on a sheet of tin foil (especially if you didn't keep the bottom complete),
Have participants fill the centre with sugar (optionally add mixed fruit),
Wrap completely with tin foil,
Place on the embers of a fire.
Wait 5-10 minutes,
Allow to cool before eating.
