Description

Combining St David's Day with World Book Day. (Both are on 1st March)

Talk to the young people about St. David and explain that a Daffodil is a symbol of Wales (and Leek). Explain about world book day and ask the children how they would save the page in a book they are reading.

Resources

Yellow, orange & green card (Pre cut shapes as per photo attached)
Double sided sticky tape or glue sticks
Adult help

Instructions

Using pre-cut card daffodil shapes (See photos attached), build the daffodil, securing each section with double sided sticky tape (or glue sticks but these may not be as strong). Fold down the top most petals so that they are level to align along the edge of a book page (Adult help may be required for this part).
