Description

Game designed to introduce Beavers to a popular sport for wheelchair users. This has been designed to be played by Lodge teams but could be pairs or other team groupings, as long as there are different coloured/marked balls for each team.

Resources

Coloured plastic balls. Different colours for each team, and enough balls for each Beaver. Smaller white ball to act as jack (or could be a small object of any description).

Instructions

Place out chairs for each child in Lodge groups equal distance from a central point. Place 'jack' (small ball) at centre, each Lodge given different coloured balls. Each child within the Lodge has a ball. Each child in turn throws one ball and tries to get it closest to the 'jack'. Count to see which Lodge has three closest balls. Repeat game.
