Making a cup of cress with a photo of the beaver in the cup!

Compost
Cress seeds
A4 paper with a photo of the child making a face - with top of head cut off, width about 7cm.
Cardboard "templates" for beavers to put on paper and draw round to cut out. The template is the same size/shape as the cup's outer surface (so cut off the bottom, make a slit down the cup, squash it flat and draw around it)

Instructions

1. Beavers put the cardboard template over their photo, draw round it, and cut the paper along the lines.
2. They can write a nice message on it (we did this for mother's day).
3. Then put it inside the cup with the photo facing out
4. Fill the cup with compost
5. Put some cress seeds on top
6. Lightly water
