Sports Drink Activity
Scouts are taught the three types of sports drinks (Hypertonic, Isotonic and Hypotonic), how each one differs, and their best use depending on the circumstances/type of activity.
4-8 litres of ordinary fruit squash (not sugar-free) depending on scout numbers (see separate file for recipe and adjust accordingly).
Sugar (enough for approximately 70g per patrol - see file)
Large measuring jugs
Bin bags/cloths for spillages
