Torches enough for the number of groups who will being doing this activity at the same time.

Morse code sheets

Paper and pens to write down the messages

Instructions

In pairs or small groups. Beavers take it in turn to think up and send a 3 or 4 letter word in morse code to the rest of the group to decode.

Leader sends a message first to demonstrate activity.
