Hide some small pieces of ordinary material and highviz material, all with a cross on, in a dark room(s). With adults present so that none of the children are frightened, children have to find the materials.

How much easier was it to spot the high viz?

Cut up an old sheet and an old high vis vest/belt into small pieces. Mark each with a cross or pic of a bike.
