Description

A running around game where the Beavers/Cubs become scarecrows when they are tagged and are freed by another child crawling through their legs.

Resources

Just a big room or outside.

Instructions

One child is nominated as the tagger. You may have 2 or more taggers for bigger groups.

The Beavers/Cubs run around the agreed play area and when tagged by the tagger must freeze, standing with arms and legs spread wide to form a scarecrow shape.

The tagged child can be set free if another free child crawls through their legs.

A child is also ‘safe’ and cannot be tagged while they are crouched under a scarecrow’s legs.

The game continues until time is called or a new tagger(s) is chosen.
