"Salsa Rhythms" phone app, decent speaker. Someone who knows the basics of salsa- if you don't have someone in the leadership team, there's bound to be a parent who dances it.

Instructions

Give a brief overview of salsa, use the app to show them the fundamental rhythms, get them to clap along, Then start walking them through basic steps- don't do any partnerwork. Start the music, slow tempo and with the count, and as they get better remove (or reduce) the count and increase the tempo to keep it challenging. Perhaps at the end actually put on some real music.
