A game to help Beavers learn about the flags from 5 countries.

(Can use as part of a Kenya themed meeting - the countries are Kenya and its border countries.)

Pictures of the 5 flags (attached).

Instructions

Explain that elephants sometimes have to go on long journeys to find food and water.
The flags of Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia and Somalia are to be put up on the walls around the room.
Beavers are then to be elephants, moving from flag to flag (country to country) doing the actions called out (listed below).
The Leader calls 'from Kenya to Uganda' etc.
Change the action called as they move (or they won't go anywhere for 'watering hole'!)
Ways to move: -
Savannah - move slowly grazing.
Hot sand - tiptoe quickly.
Mud - lift legs high as if squelching through mud.
Watering hole - stand still.
Stampede - run.
