Description

A walk through local town centre, following cryptic directions to follow a predetermined route.
Objectives:
Navigate via clues the route taking compass heading changes, taking photo evidence of exact landmark where they change direction.
To recall the route and draw onto the map the exact route they have taken. They improve and rewrite the instructions once the route is completed
Method:
Take note of the next direction, when arriving at the location note on the card the direction you turn to face to continue until the next direction\ landmark is reached.
Upon completion of the route, they will work together to draw onto the map the exact route they have taken, referring to their photographs and the compass directions noted on the section below the map

The attached is the instructions and blank detail for the beavers to complete
They'll be issued with a clipboard with a copy of the Green Cross Code and this document, as well as a Pen \ Pencil and a smart phone with a compass app and camera app.
