Christmas Paper Plate Tree

Resources

 paper plates – one per Brownie
 markers/colouring pencils
 scissors
 hole punch
 ribbon or yarn
 sellotape
 stapler
 brown & yellow card
 sequins, small poms or embellishments
 glue

Instructions

Introduction:
The Brownies will design a Christmas tree using a paper plate.

Instructions:
1. Ask the Brownies to start by colouring their paper plate green.
2. Then cut each plate into thirds and then cut one of the sections a bit smaller.
3. Layer them together, leaving the smallest one on top, and staple them together.
4. Let the Brownies finish designing the tree by gluing a brown tree stump and a yellow star onto their tree along with any other decorations they choose.
