Description

Drilling holes, for purposes like passing wire or string through, pre-drilling for screws so that wood doesn't split or bind up. We all have times we need to drill holes.

Drills (corded or cordless), drill bits, wood to drill into, workbench.
Screw and driver, to demonstrate purposes of a pilot hole.

Safety first, use glasses, remove loose objects and sleeves, and long hair tied up.
Bigger drills, and corded, have more power, chance to twist out of control.
Clamp materials, ensure safe to drill through, watch speeds.

Drill vavrious holes, take turns in your Six.
Show how a pilot hole prevents a screw from splitting the wood.
