As some Beaver Scouts may find it a bit traumatic making a Guy and then throwing him/her on a fire this simple Bonfire craft activity still incorporates the tradition of guy making but with less of a human sacrifice feel.

Instructions

Beaver scouts decorate lolly sticks with patterns, drawings, words and then throw them on the Bonfire. The Guy Fawkes story can be incorporated in this and you could ask the children to draw how they think Guy Fawkes looked at the time on their sticks.
