Description

Beavers make their own poppy to be tied onto a wreath for the Remembrance Parade

Resources

Red cupcake cases (2 per beaver)
Black Tissue Paper
Black seed beads (optional)
Glue
Florist Wire
Sticky Tape
Scissors

Instructions

1. Take one of the cupcake cases and trim a small amount off the edge, about 1/2 cm (depending on the size of your cupcake cases.
2. Glue the smaller case inside the larger case to make the poppy.
3 Using the black tissue paper, roll small amounts into small balls, then glue to the centre of the poppy, ensuing that the entire bottom of the cupcake case is covered.
4. I put a few seed beads on my poppy centre, just for a bit of sparkle, but not everyone had the time in my group.
5 Once the glue is dry, tape the florist wire to the back of the poppy so that it can be attached to the wreath
