Description
Christmas mapped up.
This is a Christmas card for map lovers; it's made out of a printed map.
It is cut to look like a snowflake and can be made by Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and adults too.
Resources
White card
Printed OS map- from the internet
A contrasting piece of coloured card
Scissors
Glue
Glitter- optional
Instructions
1) Fold white card in half to make a card
2) Cut a piece of coloured paper into a rectangle or circle to fit on the front of the white card.
3) Cut a piece of map the same size as the coloured card ( its always nice to use a local map or something significant, maybe you have climbed a peak recently)
4) Fold the map as if you were making a paper snowflake- see instructions below
5) Glue coloured paper onto the card, they glue map. Add glitter if you like.
