Instructions
Cut question 5 into 4 parts and place one part into each box 1-4 in box 5 put in enough treats for one for each team member
Lock each box with the corresponding padlock placing the boxes around the room
By each box place the relevant clues (questions) allowing the explorers to solve the questions
(note, try to speed the questions out a bit so they are not just right by the box as to not make it obvious that the questions are for the box)
1. Place the letter box on the wall somewhere near the box with the row of letters somewhere else near the box (make this harder by placing the row of letters in another box (2)
2. Place the codes and the moths in different locations around the room with the question on the top of box 2
3. Place each of the codes and statements in different locations around the room, make this more difficult by adding one of the statements into another box (1) with the question on top of box 3
4. Place the letter grid in a location around the room, this could be split into 2 parts, on top of box 4 add the clue
5. Once all the boxes have been open they will have all 4 parts of the puzzle for box 5, once they solve box 5 and get the treats they have escaped the room.
This can be a costly activity but can be run over and over again with new scouts once equipment has been purchased
