Cubs have some fun in the woods, where one team hides glow sticks and the other has to find them!

I got packs of twenty Glow Sticks from Poundland.
I bought enough so that each cub had five each

Instructions

One team goes off into the woods in pairs, to hide their Glow Sticks, while the other waits behind and sings some campfire songs.

After a five / ten minutes, the group who laid the Glow Sticks come back and the other group have to go off and find as many as they can.
The first Group then sing some campfire songs.

To bring the Cubs back, blow a whistle.
(We played it so that if one Cub Laid 5, the Cub searching can only find five, to give everyone and even chance)

Once they've found them, they'll be counted up for their team Score.

They then do it all over again, but swap the groups, so the ones who laid them / find them and visa-versa.

The Glow sticks can be hidden, but also need to be able to be seen.
Explain to the cubs they can't put them under a pile of leaves, unless there's a bit of the stick sticking out.

We gave each group a couple of attempts to hide them better second time around, so effective four rounds, but can be more.
