Relay race to make an imaginary cake. Fits in well as a game when working on any food related evening.

MAKE A SPONGE RELAY RACE
Requirements for each team:
Mixing bowl
6 pieces of paper with 25g of margarine written/picture on each of them
6 pieces of paper with 25g of flour written/picture on each of them
6 pieces of paper with 25g of caster sugar written/picture on each of them
3 pieces of paper with egg written/picture on them
1 piece of paper with 1 tsp of vanilla essence written/picture on it.
(It may be helpful to also write the correspondence die number on the pieces of paper)
Provide each team with a list of the ingredients below.

All items are to be placed in a big pot on a table at the end of the room.

Instructions

Take it in turns to throw the dice.

INGREDIENTS
YOU CANNOT HAVE ANY INGREDIENTS UNTIL YOU HAVE THROWN A 6 FOR THE MIXING BOWL.
When you have a mixing bowl you can start throwing the dice for the other numbers. Each time you throw a number that is needed you can run and get the item (written on a piece of paper) from the table and put it in your mixing bowl.
Throw a 1 for 25g of margarine. You need 6 of these
Throw a 2 for 25g of flour. You need 6 of these
Throw a 3 25g of caster sugar. You need 6 of these
Throw a 4 for an egg. You need 3 of these.
Throw a 5 for a spoonful of vanilla essence. You need 1 of these.
