tape a grid using masking taped to the floor in the middle of the room with letters in the squares. in a relay race, beavers/cubs are given a reference and have to find the letter and take it back to their lodge. it should spell a word or be an anagram of a word

Instructions

1. tape grid to floor 10 by 10 is ample.
2. put small bits of tape in each grid and write the appropriate letters on them to spell the words you have chosen (number of letters appropraite to how many beavers in a lodge.
3. create four lots of instructions and put the correct letters in the grids.
4. each lodge/six has their own sheet with grid references on them and one by one they have to run to the grid, find the letter and run back.
5. the winner is the one that can find the word from the letters (i created anagrams of obvious things to add a twist to the game)
