A cat cocoon
We made these to donate to local animal rescue

Resources

a medium t-shirt
30x30cm piece of cardboard
two wire hangers
tape
safety pins
something to cut the hangers - wite cutters
Something to bend hangers - pliers

Instructions

Cut the top hook off the wire hangers

Shape the each wire into a semi circle

Place the wire onto cardboard by poking a hole in each corner of cardboard (photos of how in images). Twist the bottom of wire once through each corner and tape down.

Pull shirt over the wire and cardboard with the neck hole at the front (again photo attached)

Pin the excess fabric. You could cut and sew that excess but by pinning it allows for the shirt to be removed and washed if needed.
