Lolli-Pop Sticks
Red Colouring in Pencils or similar
1p piece (optional)
Ribbon
Chinese Good Luck Symbol (found in the attached document)
Instructions
Explain to the Cubs that It is a long upheld Chinese tradition and custom to hang bright red banners and signs with messages of good luck and fortune for the New Year and that they are normally placed down either side of doorways or gate as well as showing up in living rooms.
1. Colour in the sticks with the Red Pencils and then glue them to form shape as shown in the attached
2. Cut out your “Fu” symbol and glue to the back of your Lolli-pop stick frame and glue 1p piece to bottom right corner
3. Attach a ribbon loop to the back and hang up round the home for good luck
