Run a Fire Drill where a person is left inside and check Beavers knowledge of what to do e.g. ring 999, leave looking for person to fire brigade, know assembly point, no collecting bags & coats etc.

Instructions

A few weeks after explaining how to react to a fire alarm in the Scout Hall run a fire drill.
One Leader without warning rings the fire bell. All (except one pre-arranged Leader or YL) exit the building to assembly point. LIC takes register. Ask is everyone out? When they realise who is missing ask what should be done next, should someone go look for the missing person, phoning 999 etc.
