Make up a story where each player alternately starts with the word "Fortunately" or "Unfortunately"
Young people can be in small teams, or one big one

Instructions

Players can sit either in a line or a circle.
One big team Colony/Pack/Troop, or smaller teams/Lodges/Sixes/Patrols

One player begins the story by saying something like: "We set off for camp at the weekend....."
The next player must then continue, starting with "Unfortunately" such as "Unfortunately we left our tents behind".
Player 3 starts with a statement beginning with "Fortunately" such as "Fortunately, Akela had a large waterproof Groundsheet which we used as a tent".
The story continues around the group in this way alternating between unfortunately & fortunately until everyone has had a turn
