Agree / Disagree Cards

Report Copyright Infringement View in OSM UK

Description

Part of #YouShape Scouting.
Gathers opinions of the Cub section on ideas as well as sparking debate between the young people.
Place the Agree / Disagree cards at either end of the room. Ask the young people to stand in the middle of the room. Read out the first statement and ask the young people to move to either disagree or agree.
REMIND them there is no right or wrong answer to each question. We are just exploring some ideas.
Ask one young person (Sixers may be best) why they have chosen to stand where they have.
Ask if anyone from the other side wants to respond. Remember not to let it beome confrontational.
Sometimes we need to reflect on an idea and may decide to change our minds later.
If there is a lot of discussion, say you will PARK the idea for the moment and come back to it later. (As part of #YouShape forum. Don't forget to do it)
