Description

Fun game where Beavers guess if books with playing cards on the back are higher or lower than the last one.
Can use as an extra activity when doing Book Reader badge or as part of a World Book Day evening.

Resources

10 books per group of 4-6 Beavers with playing cards attached to the back. One suit used per group.
Set of playing cards - large versions if possible.

Instructions

Line up the 10 books with the cards hidden from the Beavers.
Each Beaver has a go at guessing 'higher or lower' as in 'Play your cards right!'
Their score is the number of cards reached before they get 'higher or lower' wrong.
