A runaround Corners game similar to Port and Starboard (Captains Coming) which can be included when discussing Lent.

Prepare "corner signs" for
Desert, Temple, High Place and River Jordan
Play as with Port and Starboard but with the corner names above and with actions for
Bow to the King (encourage flamboyant bowing)
Superman (a superhero dive freeze)
Fresh Warm Bread (mine eating bread) *
*This last command was replaced with "Jaffa Cakes" in our game as we were using these to tempt the boys with later!

This game was followed with a discussion about Lent and Jesus' Temptations in the Desert. Can be used in conjunction with Lent Adventure activity.
