Instructions

Leader to demonstrate commands with 2 or 3 volunteers

1. Man the narrow boat - Piggy back ride
2. Count Down - Raise both hands above head (V shape) and count down 6,5,4,3,2,1 touching
3. Cast Off - Find a wall to push off from
4. Look for obstructions in the water - Pretend binoculars
5. Figure of 8 - Stand in groups of 3 and weave between each other
6. Throttle - Step forward 2 and step backwards 2
7. Man the narrow boat - Youth members to sit on floor in front of each other in one long line and when all ready, sing 'Row, row, row your boat gentle down the stream, if you see a crocodile don't forget to scream' - Leader to agree on a hand single to silence the screams beforehand.
