Description

Visit the local Community Orchard - Caretaker of the Orchard to give a talk to the Beavers/Cubs about the Orchard; what type of trees (apples, pears, cherry, walnut etc). Who looks after the orchard, who can take fruit, what happens to the fruit (juiced; food bank; sold), plant trees and anything else the scouts would like to know. The Orchard might have an area for a bug hotel, wild flowers etc for them to explore.
