A Mothering Sunday craft activity

Resources

White A5 cards and envelopes - 1 per child
Colour foam to make flower pot and flower heads
Lolly sticks x 2 per child
pre-printed legends to stick on flower pots
pre=printed 'Happy Mother Day' slips to stick inside cards
coloured pens
white glue in bowls and paint brushes

Instructions

Kids stick Happy Mother Day slip inside card and sign their name.


Kids cut out foam flower pot shapes and then two flower heads


Stick flower pot on card leaving room to push in flowers


Choose 2 things you will do for your mum and write them on the flower heads (some children may need a leader to do this for them)


Stick flower heads on lolly sticks.


Put flowers in pots.


Address envelopes with child's mum's name e.g. Roo's mum.


Carefully put card into envelope.
