Hike around the local area finding numerical answers to questions.

Map and time to walk around beforehand.

Instructions

Walk around the area, looking for things with numbers, for example:

* Last digit of xyz shop's phone number
* Last digit of last bus collection at xyz bus stop
* House number on xyz road with the bright pink door
* Number of houses on xyz road
* Hour of last post collection at xyz post box

etc...

Then give the scouts the map and list of questions. They have to find the answers, add them all up, and closest to the right answer wins.
