Description

Three glasses must be arranged in an equilateral triangle with a knife length between them (so a knife cannot span between any two glasses).

Your challenge is to balance a 4th glass above the table using only the knives.

The knives cannot touch the table and the 4th glass cannot touch any of the other glasses or be directly above any of them.

SOLUTION.

Three glasses must be arranged in an equilateral triangle with a knife length between them (so a knife cannot span between any two glasses).

The knives must be interlocked, to form a triangle at the centre, with the handles resting on the glasses around the edge.

The glass can then be suspended in the centre of the triangle.
