Go to local supermarket to buy food for the food bank with the money raised from fundraiser.

Shopping Bags or boxes
List of shortages from Food Bank
notebook and pencil for adding up costs (or calculator e.g. on phone)
Remember enough £1 coins for 1 trolley per lodge

Instructions

Walk to supermarket (or meet there if not local)
1 leader with each lodge, each takes a shopping list, portion of money, trolley and bags
Walk around shop calculating costs as you go.
Discuss good and bad foods. Include some treats, but get majority healthy foods.
Reminder that can't buy fresh as no way to keep it fresh. Tinned and packets only.
Put shopping in leader's car before walking back to hut.
