Description

Beavers make a mask shape over half a blown-up balloon with papier mache. Leave to dry until a next session then decorate

Resources

Balloons
White glue
Flour
Water
Aprons or old shirts
Old newspaper

Instructions

Blow up balloons to roughly head size
Rip strips of newspaper
Mix white glue and water 50/50 and add some flour
Soak strips of newspaper in glue-water-flour mix and arrange across front of the balloon in the shape of a masks
Leave openings for eyes and mouth now or you'll have to cut it out later
Place in a warm dry area to dry
