Description

Have a number of pots with highly smelling items inside covered with tinfoil with holes in the top.
The Beavers then need to smell each pot and guess what is inside.

Resources

Pots, tinfoil, rubber bands, marker pen, answer sheets.

things for inside the pot, eg, garlic, cucumber, toothpaste, damp earth, marmite, lime, smell sock!

Instructions

Put one smelly item in each pot, cover with tinfoil use the elastic band to secure, number pot and cut hole in top. Ask each child to smell and then guess what it is and write on an answer sheet, the team or individuals to make a lodge with most correct answers wins.
