Description

Paint, glitter water and cotton wool added to a jar to make space effect

Resources

Small Jar e.g. jam jar
Water
paint 3 to 4 colours
Glitter for the stars (recommend sliver)
Cotton wool to be pulled apart to fill the jars (we needed 3 large packets of pleated wool for 18 beavers, the larger the jars the more wool needed, it takes more than you think)
Lolly stick to help push it all down

Instructions

fill the jar with 1/3 (or 1/4 if doing 4 colours).
Add a squirt of paint and sprinkle of glitter.
Mix
pull apart and push in cotton wool until water is absorbed.

Repeat for other colours until jar is full

Pink, Blue, Purple, yellow, are good space colours.
Be careful to only mix each layer separately
