Description

This is a great task in an area where there are (clean-ish) pavements or bare walls.

We've done this a few times with different groups of Beavers and it never fails to engage them.

Resources

Large decorating size paint brushes.

Pots/buckets of water.

Instructions

Kids each have a paint brush and they get other Beavers to place their hand on the floor or lie down completely and then they trace around them with brushed dipped in water. Kids can also stand against a wall and have their silhouettes painted.
