Simple two team, outdoor runaround game

Resources

lots of strips of ribbon or fabric.

Instructions

The Beavers are divided into two teams, and half are given 'tails' to be tucked into their waistbands.
The first team are given a head start then the second team chase them and try to grab tails.
Once a player has lost their tail they return to base and receive a replacement.
When the time is up the tails collected are counted up, and the roles reversed.
The winning team is the one which collected the most tails.
