Two scripts for use with the Global Issues badge, to demonstrate how Fair Trade works.

Both scripts, plus "money" for use in the role play (this can be actual coins or Monopoly money).

Instructions

Divide the participants into two teams, with one being Fair Trade and one not. Allocate different roles to the different participants - our Colony is 24 so the roles were divided up accordingly, but you can use as many or as few participants as you have and double up the roles if necessary. At the end of the role play, ask the farmers to count up how much money they have - and then see if the participants think this is fair.

Some younger Beavers may need help with reading.
