Description

Make an activity dice for Father's Day - they don't have to be given to dads as the activities aren't 'dad specific'.

Resources

Cube templates (attached), printed on paper
Felt pens
Blocks (4-inch square works well - a piece of 4x4 cut into 4" lengths)
Glue
Sellotape

Instructions

Cut lengths of 4x4 wood into 4 inch lengths. For Pippins, you could pre-cut them; for Brownies, you could mark them out and get the girls to do the cutting.

Print the cube template. For the template attached to fit comfortably around a 4-inch wooden cube, print it at 110%.

Get the girls to write activities that they would like to do with their dad on the cube template. A list of ideas is attached; it could include things like baking together, going for a walk, playing outside...

Cut out the template and wrap it around the wooden block, gluing it in place. You could tape the corners for durability.
