To explore and understand why Ireland is part of the European Union.

This Badge has 5 options of which 4 must be completed.

Instructions
Ask each Patrol to choose an EU country that they will represent in the Eurovision Talent Competition. They must do a 90 second act – it can be a song, play, showing their countries talent. (Note: When we did this with our Guides one Patrol choose an EU country for each person and they did a combined act ????).

When the countries are chosen, advise the unit the names of the countries entering this year’s competition. Try to avoid duplication of countries.

Give the Patrols 15 minutes to discuss and prepare their act. Then have a Eurovision style presentation of their talents.
