A chair for each player

Instructions

Every player needs a chair and all chairs are placed in a circle.

One player stands in the centre of the circle. This will leave an empty chair.

The player to the right of the empty chair must put their left hand on the chair and call the name of another player still sitting in the circle. That player must go and sit on the empty chair. Now there is a new empty chair and the player to the right of this empty chair repeats the action of putting their hand on the chair and calling another player.

All this time the player in the centre of the circle is trying to sit on an empty chair before one of the other players calls a name. If a name is called before the centre player sits on the chair, the centre player must wait for another chair. If the seated player just puts her hand on the chair and doesn’t call a name, she becomes the centre player.

The player directly to the left of the empty chair can not be called to sit on the chair.

The game can continue for as long as you wish
