PACKING A SUITCASE OR HOLDALL

The following tips will help you pack a bag for holidays
1. Write a list of all the things you need
2. Collect everything on your list and lay them out on your bed.
Have you got too much? What can you leave behind?
3. Place you bag on the floor.
4. Pack all the heavy things, such as shoes towels or books first.
(if you pack them on top they will crush the clothes) It’s a good idea to put shoes in plastic/paper bags.
5. Fold your sweater neatly into a rectangle shape with the sleeves inside
6. Carefully fold up any jeans, tracksuits dresses or skirts into rectangles. Lay them on top as flat as possible.
7. Fold up your shirts and t-shirts into rectangles and place them on top.
8. Pack you night things and any other extra items you may need quickly.
9. Tuck any small thinks down the sides carefully. You could pack your wash bag here.
10. Shut your bag: if you can! If you have trouble, take out some things you don’t really need.
If you are using a holdall roll socks and underwear and tuck in the corners. Use the pockets for small things you want to get at easily, such as your wash bag
