Description

A course is setup using ropes which follows a predefined path under and over obstacles at night. As set intervals random objects are attached to the line. The Scout must be blindfolded and follow the rope by keeping one hand on it at all times. as they reach an object they should use their senses to identify it and remember it. The Scout at the end should name the object, and points awarded for each one correctly named. Extra bonus points if the Scout remembers the item in sequence.

Instructions

Assemble the rope course attaching objects periodically.
Visually risk assess and where necessary allocate YL or Adults to stand along the route to supervise and prevent harm.
Blindfold the Scouts and set tem off one at a time by placing their hand on the start of the rope.
Send another Scout when the previous one is approximaely haf way.
